The project “Six views of the room” was intended for the tourism sector, for those who want to create additional value in their offer with interior design and build experience tourism for the new guest.
In thinking about the direction of the development of the Project, several characteristics were taken into account, on the basis of which the client will choose from several options with regard to the regional diversity of the climate, design and price range.
Although the price range pretty much determines the direction in which the project will develop, it is important to move away from established approaches and divisions that determine the direction of thinking.
Thus, hostel accommodation can radiate originality, and in thinking about the concept of a luxury room, the classic concept of luxury was deviated from and new values were examined, such as: silence, lightness, sincerity, unobtrusiveness, originality, element of surprise, personal approach and a number of other values that represent luxury. for a modern (urban) man.
The recognizability of the destination is emphasized as an essential item, and by harmonizing the entire offer with the specifics of the location, the tourist is provided with the much-desired autochthonous experience. Therefore, variability, flexibility, expressiveness, economy and technology are naturally imposed as basic requirements when designing interiors in all price ranges. Expressiveness means that the choice of materials, textures and surface treatment should enable the best possible fit into the specific context of the hotel-climate-region, while technology means that the designed furniture elements must be harmonized with the technology of manufacturers who are members of Croatian Interiors.
In order to design rooms that would satisfy the need of Croatian tourism to emphasize the richness and regional peculiarities of Croatian architectural heritage and artistic expression, we have created six basic categories of hotel rooms that are fully equipped with the offer of local manufacturers.
